The one that started it all. As the de-facto speaker of the first Vox AC30s, the Celestion Blue is etched in history as the sound of the 60's British Invasion. It's the voice of rock n roll.

It has a distinctive growl and warm body, with a laid back alnico feel of a dampened attack, and a famously chiming bell-like top-end. Driven hard, it oozes rich definition and develops a beautiful musical compression.

Its unique shimmering presence can also paint rich atmospheric textures; from lush euphoric soundscapes (U2) to smoky, mysterious noire (Portishead, James Bond), or vast, scorching spaghetti westerns (Ennio Morricone).
